I often pondered as a younger person why certain people would find themselves in so much trouble personally, financially or both. I then realized recently why it is that some people are in the piss poor conditions that they are in. The people who keep their heads buried in the clouds are usually to blame for their own crappy short comings rather than another reason. They don't want to see it that way, but they are indeed responsible for their own stupid demise.
It all comes down to shitty decision making and the flaw of youth. Young people do stupid things and make very poor decisions at times. I have made some bad decisions, but they don't even begin to measure up to some of the shitty decisions I have seen other juvenile people make. After thinking about all of this for years and observing the same stupid people continually making the same bad decisions I have realized that there really isn't some larger more complex reason as to why some people make horrid decisions and ultimately screw up their lives forever. It is really quite simple.
Irresponsible, uneducated, stubborn, juvenile people tend to make really horrible life decisions such as not using a condom and ruining their lives by having a child out of wedlock. They also tend to not amount to much career wise and then struggle to live and provide for their family if they end up having one. Some of these stupid people run after a "dream" such as being an actor, artist, musician or some other lackadaisical lifestyle that will usually not become a viable source of income because they haven't been discovered or aren't good enough.
Illusions of Grandeur.
I have watched my high school classmates grow up to either be very successful or I have watched them fail miserably. A lot of them don't want to grow the fuck up which is frankly just sad.
If you want to be successful in life, you need to be honest with yourself and others. You need to work hard and be diligent to strive for your goals. You need to be realistic in what your are trying to achieve and most importantly you need to stop and think before reacting.
