LCK: Louis CK - Doing what I wish I could do

If you haven't bought your copy of his stand up it only costs $5 and it isn't from any distribution company. You can get yours here: https://buy.louisck.net/ I support what he is doing 100%. He asked nicely that people don't pirate his content and I will fall back to my rule of - if you can't afford it then meh - if you can afford it and you are pirating things anyhow, then you are an asshole. After all - it is 5 dollars! That is VERY reasonable and inexpensive.

Louis CK (LCK) is someone I seriously look up to. He is my comedian replacement for the antics of George Carlin (GC). GC and LCK are very similar in that they tell the truth. They are lucky that they can and not have to say how they feel like the way I have to. If I was a comedian or an author I would make this site up front and public in the sense that I wouldn't hide my identity. LCK makes so much sense when you listen to him, he is navigating life like the rest of us, he is just more conscience about it. GC was like that too. They both point out what people don't want to A. Hear and B. Acknowledge which is what makes them so admirable. They are saying what they mean, they aren't hiding from their true feelings. I mean hell it helps when you get paid to do it.

Please don't get me wrong, I am definitely not a religious person and I am not elevating either of them to a religious level - so please don't think that. I am saying however that they are model citizens regardless of what they do right or wrong in their personal lives. They are always up front and honest about what they think is going on. They are admirable people in my eyes. I do what LCK does, but I do it in a less funny way - I am just dead pan serious, I try to be funny, but I can't always come up with comedic content. I have to practice my freedom of speech in the shadows because if I did it openly I would probably ruin my life. I don't get paid to have an opinion unfortunately - only to write code for a hedge fund to make more money than I can even fathom.
