My first day on the new job, the drive was meh, took longer than my normal drive, but I suspect that is because I never drove down that way before and the area is rather secluded in terms of buildings and people. You only really go down that route if you live there, are rich or work there.
I got sick two days before the first day of being on the job, which for a lack of better words fucking sucks. So I have been making the best of it by enjoying the fact that I don't have to deal with my tard of an ex-boss anymore. The people here at this new place are very nice and generally it seems like everyone stays off each others' asses.
Another downside to working here is I am not allowed to use any IM Clients (officially). So that is a problem for me, I use IM a lot, so I need to find a way around that. The other thing that sucks is I have to disclose all stocks that I own because the SEC needs to know. So this is a way more secure orginization, this is how it should be, so good.
I think I am going to fit in just fine here from what I can tell so far. I just need to prove myself these next few months and not waste anyone's time. Especially my own time that is. I know I will feel fantastic once I get my first pay check which is next Friday (I think?).
