Potentials

I don't understand why when someone has a good idea and they present it to their superior, they shoot it down or will say, "That is a great idea, but we can't do that right now." Instead, I've learned if you have a great idea, you should start working on it in a sand box environment without telling anyone first. Then present the idea as a proof of concept so that it is finished already and no one can shoot it down.

I think it is stupid and a waste to shoot down potentials/ideas. Nothing is a bigger demotivate-or than someone saying, hey that is a great idea, but don't do it.

This is why I implemented my ideas into a sand box environment for my own satisfaction, that way come time to implement this idea, it is done already.
