Another Example of Tolerated Speech

I have another good real world example of tolerated speech. The company I work for recently sent us a memo describing what we can/cannot say or do with respect to social media. Essentially it can be boiled down to, "If you work for us, you are not allowed to have an opinion that will make us look bad or we will fire you." Good lord, now that is a great example of tolerated speech if I ever saw one.

They are telling is we cannot live our lives freely and openly because it might piss them off... wonderful. According to them I need to have a disclaimer on my blog that explains that everything on my blog is purely my opinion and has nothing to do with them. That should be implicit, but meh. And that only applies if I say something about them. Hell I talk about it all the time, but I won't say who it is.

Either way, this is yet another example of "tolerated speech" and a great example of there being no such thing as freedom of speech.

Artificial Problems

I hate the fact that it seems like there isn't enough regulation for housing. Recently I put down an offer on a house on short sale. Just an FYI the term "short sale" is anything but short in duration. Short sale refers to the agreement made between the bank and the home owner to sell the house at a lower price than what the mortgage is worth currently. Leaving the owner and bank shorted on price.

I put this offer on and 3 months later they deny the owner sale because she is current on her payments and not delinquent. They figure they could get more money out of her if she sold it at a higher price. Assholes. This poor lady is ill and just wants to get out of this house so she can focus on her health. So because the owner was doing the right thing, being current on her payments and not falling into delinquency she is being punished. This is disgusting. If I was that woman I would become delinquent to spite them.

This brings me to my next point. This is an artificial problem constructed by this bank. This bank should be held legally liable for causing a home owner major financial ruin because they wouldn't comply with selling the house. This is not moral or just, they are being money grubbing whores.

I don't understand how or why it is okay for banks to setup these artificial disasters. Here is a simple scenario:

Someone buys a house for 300K at a high interest rate

They pay for 20 years

They become distressed due to illness or job loss

They ask the bank to simply reduce the interest rate the is now available to everyone else because they will not be able to continue paying otherwise

The bank refuses

The home owner goes into foreclosure

Who's fault is it? As far as I can tell it is the bank's fault because they refused to negotiate. They could have avoided this, but they didn't. They created the interest rate to begin with, they aren't losing anything if they lower it. Their bottom line won't be as big, but that shouldn't matter. The point is now someone is in foreclosure and it could have gracefully been avoided.

Good job assholes. Keep up the good work.

This scenario only applies when it is the bank who owns the house originally. Otherwise it is an actual huge financial loss for the bank which is then understandable. However they should still see if their interest collection superseded the principal. Stop being assholes and start being human.

Business people always look at the bottom line which I think explains why so many business people are republicans. Republicans only care about themselves and their money. My Cuban boss from an older job is a a republican and he said and I quote "I will vote for whoever doesn't raise taxes." Which is a stupid thing to say first off and secondly greedy. Greedy because this son of bitch was making about 150K a year and his wife was pulling in 250K a year and he doesn't want to give any back to the community that made him this rich? Selfish asshole would rather vote for rat bastards who fuck the guy who already has nothing instead of giving a small percentage of his huge yearly profits.

Mother fucker. People like him and the people who think like him are scum and I hope they get cancer so they feel pain and die a slow death.

Back Pain

Everytime I give blood for a blood test my back hurts afterwards. It is very very weird. That's all I just wanted to state that. If anyone else has this problem out there say something, I would like to hear your thoughts on it.

Fidelity

Fidelity likes to do this cute thing where they claim to fill your stock at your requested price, but then they end up filling it or settling it at a higher price which is goddamn annoying. A few cents makes a difference and what is more annoying is that I setup my trade accordingly:

  • Buy stock ABC
  • 2.13/share
  • Limit order
  • all or none
  • good until killed

Somehow that translated into, buy my stock at 2.16 a share which is clearly not what I asked for. Why is that okay? I emailed them and I am waiting for an answer.

--

I got my answer and it turns out that they take their $9.99 fee and roll it into the cost basis... I don't like that because I think it is inaccurate. What the hell is $9.99 in comparison to like 100 shares that cost like $200 bucks! The point is don't roll it up into the price, it isn't the same thing. Just something I need to know I suppose. It makes it more difficult to track with Google finance too.

Family and Human Relations

I think I ranted about this before, but I want to rant about it again since I had to deal with my sister again. My sister is a really self centered person, I pretty much have to handle her with kids gloves and walk around on egg shells because she is such a mega bitch. She has daddy issues that will never be resolved because he is dead.

Basically the idea is you don't have to love or like people who are related to you. If they make you goddamn uncomfortable then you don't have to deal with them. If there is an unavoidable family function, just grit and bear it, but learn where to draw the line too.

IHOP

I love IHOP. I have always loved IHOP, even as a kid. No diner or anything else comes close to being as awesome as IHOP. IHOP's rival in my mind is Denny's also in my mind Denny's sucks. Denny's sucks because they don't have appealing items on their menus, their selection and combinations absolutely suck. The only thing about Denny's that is any good is their sweets, deserts and beverages, they have the best selection. IHOP however doesn't, their desert menu has like 3 items on it and they are all meh.

IHOP's menu items are fantastic though, the combos are great and the prices can't be beat. I love their coffee and I like the fact that they leave the pot on the table and give you a syrup container unlike Denny's where the coffee tastes like shit and they give you a weee little container of syrup. You have to beg for more coffee and beg for more syrup, annoying.

I always leave happy from IHOP regardless of the time and trust me I have been to IHOP all times of the day. I have been there drunk, after sex, after midterms, after finals... I had a friend throw up all over the table once. I watched anime and movies on my laptop there, it was a hang out of sorts. I love you IHOP.

Connections

I am very happy that there are more good guys than bad at my job place. A bulk of the people who work at my job place want to get shit done, they don't look for the easy way out. That is the kind of team I like to work with and I like to socialize with these people. They make me feel good about the work I do. They don't throw me under the bus unnecessarily and they usually stand up for us all.
I made a connection today with someone I find very appealing and he basically offered me work, which means I might be able to switch departments or change focus at least. I might be working with different accounting software, Great Plains.
Just need to get rid of that one bad egg and everything will be good here.

ARWR

Oh ARWR (Arrow Head Research Company), how I love thee. Your stock is a penney stock, it is as cheap as can be.
So I just spent a great big pent on your dollars and cents.
But I must inquire, when will your stock go higher?
I sit idely by, with my watchful little eye,
Hoping and wishing that your stocks will start swishing
For when it does, I will be as happy as a dove
Away from my desk which is quite a pest

--

Have I mentioned I love money? I think ARWR is the right company to invest in when it comes to biopharmecuticals and nano tube technology. I am gambling that they will do well over the next 10 years.

Reinventing the Wheel

So my buddy and I decided to attempt making a game. We chose the Microsoft XNA framework to make our game in. We worked on it for a few weeks and found that making games with just the framework is very goddamn difficult.
We got rather far too, we created an animated background, we created animated sprites, we even got as far as approaching collision detection. However nothing worked very well, it looked like shit and it was choppy and slow! That is when my partner took a step back and said, hey we are doing something Wong. I agreed with him, something was stupidly wrong here, why was this so goddamn hard to do?
Started researching and it turns out that we were creating our own game engine for this only game. We were reinventing the wheel... it was terrible. I then at that moment understood why someone would use a game engine.
I thought a game engine was only for pumping out pretty graphics and amazing 3D physics.  Turns out, it is much more than that. Game engines are specifically for taking an existing Framework, XNA, in this case and generating code for you based on a bunch of Wizards, forms and mock-ups.
Game Engines are to Gaming Code as Code Smith is to Application Code.
Game engines take all of the CRUD code out of your way and let you design your game in a very neat and orderly fashion. Very impressive stuff.
So I used "The Flat Red Ball" with "Glue" which are free to use and develop with. Bloody amazing tools. I followed their Tutorial on a mock game called Beef Ball which is just another rendition of Pong. It was easy to use and do, fucking amazing. I feel better about this whole deal now.
As soon as I get out of work, I want to get back to using it. Fun shit.

Running from the Truth

For some reason humans think that they are not a part of or have anything to do with the animal kingdom. The feeling I get is that we are Aliens that landed on earth and just happened to stumble across all these other animals. Then we put them in categories and don't mind admitting that we are at the top of the food chain. We can kill and eat everything if we choose to do so because humans, unlike animals are the smartest beings on earth. We just happened to evolve that way and for those of you that believe in god, we evolved that way...intelligently?
On to the point, people like to ignore that fact that people/humans are still animals. We all eat, shit and fuck like animals, we just happen to pass information along to later generations properly so the learning and re-learning process is far better. That is why humans are always making progress, we sometimes learn from our mistakes and happen to pass knowledge along where convenient (except for Republicans who think we shouldn't educate anyone).

Humans like to ignore the following issues:

1. Retards and the mentally broken should die off, they aren't useful and just make everyone miserable.
2. There needs to be Humans population control, too many people plus too few resources equals disaster.
3. We are still tribal whether we want to accept it or not
4. There are different human breeds that require different diets and environments

Doctors and nutrition experts are WRONG about the BMI and other pigeon hole philosophies. You cannot take every human and say, you must be this weight. It is not logical and here are my two examples:

A. Cats have different breeds, diets, sizes, weights and environments
B. Dogs have different breeds, diets, sizes, weights and environments

So why would we be willing to accept that cats and dogs have these thing in common, but humans don't?

I have been going to the gym for over 4 months now. I have figured out the difference between people who look cut and buff, but aren't vs. The people who are not cut and buff, but much stronger than those other people. The difference is body type, some people are just skinny, almost no fat. These people "appear to be muscular" when they work out. People like me, bigger, heavier, more fat, don't show their muscle, but I am very strong in comparison to some of these skinny people. My muscle is completely hidden, in order for it to surface, I need to do toning. Skinny people don't need to tone as much due to their high metabolism and lack of fat.

In conclusion, since there are different breeds of people, we can't all follow the same rules. The same is true for diet, one person who eats a cookie won't gain weight whereas others suffer greatly so when someone says, "It won't hurt to eat a cookie" They are talking about themselves, they are dead wrong to be telling other people what they think applies to all.

The only universal truth I can give about diet is:

A. Eat lean
B. If it tastes good it is bad for you
C. Make sure to eat veggies and fruits

If you only do that, don't anything you enjoy, you will lose weight. You cannot avoid exercise, you need to do both.

Group Interest

I remember getting into an argument with a Rabbi about the existence of god or lack thereof in my opinion. He was losing the argument in my opinion when he started yelling at me when I told him I could care less about what happens or where I go when I die.
Anyhow, at one point during the argument he insisted that religious people always band together in times of need and whatever. I told him that - that is a generalization and that other people outside of religion do band together in times of need. In fact groups of people who share the same interest will usually band together in times of need, it is pretty normal and has nothing to do with a fictitious invisible father figure.

He then brought up the loose point of, "Well, look at hospitals, they are all named after Religious figures." "Yeah so?" "That means that religious people are more concerned with the overall well being of people than non..." I told him that means nothing and doesn't have anything to do with religion, it is just a naming convention. "But you don't see any atheist hospitals!" "So North Shore Medical center is religious? How?" Stupid argument.

Point of me saying all of this is, that a Co-worker of mine is in a rut, so I lent him $200 dollars to keep him out of trouble. I am not religious, but out of the goodness of my heart, I want to help him. He is not religious either. We form a group of same interest due to the job and other views, we help one another.

Case in point.

Rabbi, go fuck yourself.

Police Tyranny

I don't understand why it is unlawful to yell at a police officer after they gave you a ticket for something retarded. Even if you were wrong, who the hell is ever 100% okay with paying an unexpected fee for something ridiculous. Some people say that I am just being a smart ass and instead I am pretty sure I am just highlighting one more example of our tolerated speech in this goddamn country of ours.
Cops don't suck everywhere, but the cops in FL, especially South Florida suck. Especially Cuban cops because they don't have brains, they are just macho men who think with their dicks. Just like regular Cubans who aren't cops, they are just cocks.

Cops here just setup times of the month where they hand out tickets to people because they have an unofficial quota of tickets to meet. Which I think is unfair. How the hell is it okay for a cop to park illegally in a turn lane, in a black unmarked SUV with black window tints, then jay walk out into the street and nearly get hit by my car. These fuckers are crazy. I hate cops. I don't think I have ever had help from a cop, they are just nasty ol' fuckers who hate life.

I will continue to speed until someone comes up with a good reason for me not to. Fuck the speeding laws and fuck cops. In Florida the fucking speeding limits are suggestions, not law. No one goes 55 on fucking I95, get the fuck out of here.

Speeding Ticket 1

I got a fucking speeding ticket today, first one I ever gotten in my entire life. I dodged about 6 speeding tickets for much worse speeds and this one I got for something so incredibly stupid it shouldn't even count. I was pulling out of my complex drive way making a left turn onto the street and not even 5 seconds goes by between the time I made a left turn and and the fucking cop pulls me over.
First off the douche stood in front of my car and I almost hit him, he is lucky I stopped at all cause he looked like an asshole crossing the street. He comes up to my window and taps on the glass, asks me for my license. He then says I was doing 15 mph over the limit in a 30, which is horse shit because he pulled me over in under 5 seconds start to finish.

He then walks away and when he comes back, he has a ticket for me, doesn't say a word, hands it back, I call him a douche under my breath and drive away.

Mother fucker was parked in the middle of the street in a black SUV, black tinted windows, unmarked. Couldn't tell he was an officer. I hate cops.

Did you meet your fucking ticket quota asshole?

I hate the fact that these douche bags are out giving people tickets for things that don't matter in comparison to real crimes. Fuck Florida police, especially Aventura cops. Go capture a fucking child molester assholes.

This is not going to stop me from speeding mind you, I will continue.

Fuck the speed limits and fuck traffic pussy cops.

Programmer's Light

Take it from a programmer who wears glasses and works in front of a LCD screen for about 80% of the day that the light in the room can be A. Counter productive and B. Damaging to the eyes and cause head aches and a number of other unnecessary problems.
My boss, the douche, is mandating that we keep some lights on in the office, however he is the only one, literally who thinks we should have the lights on. So left to our own devices, my co-workers and I started loosening ballasts against his wishes because the fucking asshole doesn't understand how hard it is to see your screen under hard light.

So that being said, here are a few tips for making sure you don't hurt your eyes:

1. Turn off the lights when staring at your monitor.
2. Use a desk lamp with a cool bulb, usually a blue hue, to do desk work
3. Change your backgrounds to white on black, it is more soothing for the eyes.
4. Wear sun glasses when out doors, especially if you wear glasses already
5. Do not try to look at a screen that has glare on it or too much light on it. This is hurtful to your eyes.
6. Adjust your monitor's settings or even your video card's settings to get the right color, contrast, brightness and gamma combination.

People don't realize that glasses magnify light and cause discomfort to the eyes, so too much light can be very uncomfortable. If you wear glasses, you have more of a say than people without them in my opinion. Ignore people who make fun of you for having a white on black background, when you feel the benefits in your eyes, you won't care what others say.

Make sure to sit closer to your screen, if you are squinting to see your screen there could either be too much bright light or you are too far away from your monitor. Never strain your eyes for a long period of time, it is damaging to your eyes.

Your screen emits a lot of light, so you are just hurting your eyes if you are forcing yourself to focus on something too hard. With a white background you are essentially staring into a 100 watt light bulb. If you do not believe me, the turn off all of the lights in a room and move a laptop in there with any color background and see how it lights up the room. You are staring into that, so don't be stupid, adjust the light appropriately.

Post

I have been working like a dog lately and I don't know when things will go back to normal. Shit has been crazy lately on all ends, personal and otherwise. When I am in a spot I don't like I think of the future, I think of a week from now or a month from now away from all this craziness. I really hope things get better.
I write posts like this a lot if you haven't noticed.

My future general goals are (no time line or order):
  • Get definitive answer on whether I am coming or going at work
  • Finalize new house purchase
  • Get settled into new house
  • Accumulate money to get married
  • Get married
  • Accumulate money to pay off student loans
  • Pay off student loans
  • Finalize and fix other people's side projects
  • Work on MY side projects
  • Work on MY hardware ideas
  • Buy wifey new car (her KIA is dying)
  • Buy me new car (i have almost 70K miles on my car)
That is a long list, but it is do-able. I don't like setting unrealistic goals. I will be a lot happier when I can say I don't have a lot to do and I only have free time. I am the type of person though that requires stress in order to feel motivated. If I have all the time in the world, I tend to get depressed. Ironic huh...

I want to have my cake and eat it too. I need to figure out that strange personal issue.

Goals

My poor g/f - wifey is having some major issues at work. She is unfortunately under a reign of terror that is the boss of her work place. Her work conditions and politics are much worse than mine by far.She is experiencing the same depression and anxiety as I was experiencing when I was working at my previous job place. Horrific management and work policies. You don't know what it is to hate your job so much until you feel scared to go to work and your stomach begins to eat itself due to the anxiety and fear. You feel threatened to step foot into your office, you feel that the people that work there are all incompetent and dislike you because you are good at your job. I know this feeling well and it would make me want to cry, I couldn't wait to get out of work. I hated everyone there. The atmosphere was scary.

Her particular case is worse because the person that is giving her the most grief is confirmed to be fucking the bosses daughter, literally and factually. He is an incompetent pompous ass athlete with a degree in African American studies. He has gotten nothing but a free pass his whole college and professional career, fucking punk ass. Now the fucker is going to law school, the same way, free pass.

The boss's daughter is just as bad. She had a free pass through college, MCAT and is now in med school. Free of charge mind you because the boss is friends with the head of the college.

Now with all that being said I want to make enough money where she can stay home and focus on her writing career. She is very good at it and she will be successful, she just needs the time. She is looking for another job, but all of the potential jobs have their flaws and problems.

People suck.

Users vs. Programmers

Lets get the facts out into the open. The users are all idiots according to the programmers. The programmers are all incompetent according to the users. There is a very simple fact in between those two statements that makes both of them very biased. The user is upset they cannot use their software properly and doesn't understand what is involved in creating software. They don't realize that there is a lot of factors to be considered and that it is inevitable to make mistakes from time to time.
Alternatively is the programmer who thinks the user has no idea what they are talking about when they complain or whine. They think that they make baseless accusations and report mistakes they caused, IT based issues, software incompatibility etc... however the programmer has to take a walk in the users shoes and realize that there is a big inconvenience at times when using faulty software. Especially for sensitive information.

The only difference between the two now is that I knew the difference already and the users don't have a fucking clue what they ask for sometimes.

Do you Accept the Terms of Service?

I think terms of service are fucking joke, just like South Park helped highlight in their episode about Kyle signing up for iTunes and blindly accepting the Terms of Service. Well I think that these Terms of Service means jack shit for a very very simple reason. I will demonstrate using simple logic:

Do you agree to the Terms of Service?
If I say "no" I cannot continue
If I say "yes" I can continue

Real world example A:
Florida International University asks their paying students to agree to a Terms of Service when registering and paying for classes using their piece of shit People Soft system that works sometimes. Why is this this absurd? I cannot continue going to classes or graduate unless I agree, SO WHY THE FUCK WOULD I BOTHER READING THE TERMS OF SERVICE? FIU doesn't give their students a fucking choice in the matter. Who gives a shit what you fucking Terms of Service says, I need to agree in order to continue going to school.

Real world example B:
In order to install Windows you must agree to the user agreement. Again, why the hell would I bother reading the stupid ass agreements, I need to install my operating system, that I paid for. Do you really think I give a flying fuck what is in the agreement.

Yes people are absolutely 100% responsible for what they didn't read, because ignorance doesn't stand up in the court of law, but at the same time why is it okay for companies to make a EULA or Terms of Service a billion miles long? Not to mention the shit is confusing sometimes, not always, but there are Terms of Service that are really confusing to read and ambiguous. The most important fact here is that sometimes there is no goddamn choice, so why ask in the first place? REALISTICALLY there is no choice. Saying no to the FIU agreement is not a choice for 99% of students.

User agreements suck.

The Downside to Technology

Not too long ago, back in the 80's there was no such thing as having home computers, cellphones or Internet. I am not saying that I want things to go back to how they were, but I think some people are just being goddamn inconsiderate of other people's time when it comes to the use of technology.

Remember how back in the 80's you couldn't call your cousin in a remote location too often or at all. Now it seems like it is a goddamn obligation and I don't like it. I already dislike most of my family, but for some reason people think I need to call and stay in contact with them when they are not anywhere near where I live. I have my life to live and they have theirs. For some reason unbeknown to me they think I need to call them every week or every month. Which I think is goddamn ridiculous since this is how the conversations tend to play out:

Them: Hi
Me: Hi
Them: How are you doing?
Me: Fine and you?
Them: Good. How's work?
Me: Good, you?
Them: Good.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF THAT CONVERSATION? I can fucking record it and play it back to them. I don't need to waste my time on the phone with someone who I am never going to see any time soon. I don't like wasting my time with trivial bullshit like that. I am tired of people thinking that just because we have the capability to communicate doesn't mean we need to. Just like, just because you have family doesn't mean you have to like or love them; especially if they suck. I don't buy the baseless arousing emotion phrase of "But we are family" or "That is your family" family are still people and people suck, so there is nothing stopping your family members from being sucky family members.

I am very very worried that employers are going to make it a silent requirement that you have a LinkedIn account. I know this is speculation, but I can see the conversations now, "You don't have a LinkedIn account? Why?", "Because I like to remain a little anonymous, I don't need people I don't know knowing everything about me."

People are respecting each other's boundaries less and less. And some people are contributing too much information more and more online, on blogs, on facebook without thinking about the goddamn consequences. I have a facebook account I do not update, you know why, because I am afraid to piss off the wrong people and the people I know. I can't control people judging me behind the scenes, why give them more fuel for their hatred fire? I don't need people knowing what I do every 10 minutes, if I was an employer I would block that fucking site and if you used your cellphone I would stalk your ass to make sure you weren't updating your stupid ass facebook on the job.

People need to use their fucking heads and stop being so goddamn sensitive or juvenile. If you have too much free time and you criticize others for not doing things with you or doing the things that you do, then you need to look at the priorities in your life and figure out if it is okay for you to have that much free time. Are you going to be okay with the same shit job you have now? Are you okay with getting older and not having any savings at your disposal? Are you okay with getting older and then being replaced by a younger cheaper model? If so then continue being a pain in the ass. Seems like that is what most people suffer from. I do not plan on getting screwed when I get older, I want to be comfortable.

I hate people.

But hey, I can't say any of what I just said with my real identity because I will be criticized for speaking the truth. Hence my cowardly way of telling the world and my tolerated speech. The good news is nothing will happen to me because no one will know who I am.

4th of July Weekend

This was probably the worst 3 day weekend I have ever had in my entire life and my boss is to thank for it. I just spent the last 3 days working when I should have been doing nothing or working on something I would enjoy more. I got some gratifying work done, but it is just a drop in the very large bucket that is the project I am working on. My idiot boss thinks that us working the weekend made some sort of difference... Just shows another reason why he shouldn't be in the position he is. Moron.

Blogger Stats

I am not gloating or bragging about this, but I just think it is interesting that there are so many people actually viewing my blog. I know the numbers really aren't that impressive, but I went from not really having any stats to having at least one visitor a day. The curious thing is though that no one leaves a comment and I don't have any followers so I think what is really happening is that no one really means to hit my page, they just hit it by accident.

The good news is that I am not looking for followers, arguments or praise. So welcome to the blog and if you got here by accident why not leave a comment about what you were really looking for, but instead how you found this blog.

Code Patterns and the People who can't see them

What makes a good or decent coder?
In my opinion, anyone who can see patterns in code and constructs their code so that it is efficient and does the least amount of work in the fastest manor.

What makes a bad coder?

Duct tape programmers - someone who is paid to throw code together any way he can whether it is good or not and gets paid for it, then that code is someone else's problem later.

People who ignore the compiler - when someone deliberately ignores the compiler when the compiler is telling you - you are doing something wrong as a warning. There are cases where things can't be helped, but then there are cases where someone writes shitty code like this:
//Do work
return;
//Do more work that will never be executed
That is called unreachable code and if you do this it makes you look like a novice.

People who write code for humans and not for computers/efficiency - okay I understand it is hard to read code sometimes, but guess what, too bad learn how to read code no matter how it is written and write comments above the complex code to get by. Do not write if/else statements where the if or the else block is empty, that is STUPID. Don't use string builders and still concatenate strings in the string builder it DEFEATS the PURPOSE of the string builder. Use your head.

Lazy Coders - These are the people who just shouldn't code at all. They don't want to understand what they are working on and would rather duplicate code than take the time to understand what they are changing before just making a full copy of a method. They don't want to expense the time or the effort to do things right and will use try/catch blocks to convert values and set defaults versus type.TryParse() or equivalent. They are people who program by exception and do not bother to anticipate what could happen. They are people who use throw ex; vs. throw; Worst of all, Lazy Coders are people who won't listen when you tell them they are doing something wrong. They just get upset and say what they are doing is right when it is indeed wrong!

I have been cleaning up some code in the application I am working on all of the time and the crap I keep seeing upsets me greatly. To the point where I hate the individuals who did it. They took no care in their work and left the mess for others to find. It is one thing if you don't know what you are doing, it is another if you intentionally write bad code. Fuck bad coders.

The Ability to Stop Time

I was watching the twilight zone and it was an episode about a guy with a big mouth, a chatter box, who was given a stop watch that can stop time. Big coincidence, that is actually my answer to "If you could have any power what would it be?" Oh I wish I could stop time...

This is a very simple wish. I wish I had the ability to stop time. I would be able to get anything and everything done without interruption and still give people attention they think they deserve. I would also do a number of fun things like actively change history by making people die "accidentally" so I could mold and shape how things work. I would probably disrobe very attractive women and maybe even test out the goods too, that would be great. Kind of like in that movie "Cash Back" except the questionable sex part that I interjected. I would probably steal for a while too until I didn't have to anymore. I would steal money and goods from the wealthy, because those jaggofs can afford it.

The best part out of all of this is I would have the time to study and learn things. I could put off going to work and just have vacations or breaks when ever I felt like it. I could actually have time to cook, clean and exercise. I wouldn't really have to worry about anything ever again cause I would control everything. It wouldn't be the politicians, it wouldn't be the law enforcement, it would just be me.

I love this idea... but its never going to happen... So I will continue trying to do the next best thing, get paid and eventually have my big break regardless of what it is.

Monetized My Site

You always see me posting about money and the lack of it so I monetized my blog. I need monies, click on stuff for me please =D

Awesome Boss

My boss made me and my direct co-workers (my team, no one else) come into work today... on a three day weekend of all mother fucking weekends. The worst part is we didn't do anything special today, we hardly got anything of actual significance done. Pretty much this shit could have waited until Tuesday. Somethings gotta give and eventually his number will come up. I spoke to one of my bosses about this and he said that if my boss's boss knew that he made us come in on a Saturday he would be livid. He has a strict policy about people being forced to work weekends. Your personal time should be your personal time you earned it and no boss really has a good reason to take it away.

I hate my boss.

Heads Up

I see that there has been 425 views of my posts (not saying that is a lot) and I'm sure all of them are by mistake when people have been googling for something important and instead they find my blog of complaints. I still find it interesting that I have any traffic what so ever.

Anyhow, I posted like a gagillion posts dating back to March.

Just a reminder, I write about 99% of my posts on my phone (excluding this one of course) with no spell check and no automatic "i" to "I" converter, like MS Word does for you. So I am sure I have a number of grammatical errors and possibly misspellings or posts that don't even make sense. I tend to think faster than I can type sometimes, not to mention I am only using my thumbs while typing...

I also tend to do things like this:
Consolidate letters: the dge of the cliff - instead of - the edge of the cliff
Flip letters: pox - instead of - box
etc etc...
