Annoyance

So I had a really horrendous 3 day weekend. My AC died on Friday night, the start of my 3 day weekend... I had a lot of things planned, but at 85 degrees in my house, it was hard to get anything that required any sort of concentration done. Needless to say, I am quite pissed off. Luckily the AC guy came out on Monday, he found the problem, but couldn't fix it because his replacement part was bad too.

Then he was supposed to come over Tuesday night and he flaked out. Didn't bother to even call me, I called him. "Oh, sorry too much work today, maybe tomorrow..." He asked what time was good for me, I said 8AM, he said that is too early. Okay then how about 7PM? Okay...

Well he didn't show up again on Wednesday and didn't bother to call either, we called him and he said he would be too busy working somewhere else. Okay what ever asshole. We called the landlord and he said to try another service, we did so and got someone over within the hour. These guys were awesome, they had to rewire fucking everything because pretty much all of the components were burned out, but whatever it got the AC going again. This piece of crap AC has not been maintained, covered in dirt, dust, black mold and hair, it is dying slowly. The only reason it seems to have burned out to begin with is because of a Freon leak. Fucking awesome. The only reason there is a Freon leak is because the AC is in horrible condition. The coils are falling apart around the condenser and the coils on the air handler are rusting and covered in muck so they are clogged. Poor airflow + lack of Freon = overworked compressor, yields, burned out system.

So I typed up a nice long laundry list of problems for the landlord to look at and he hasn't responded yet. Either way we deducted over $500 dollars from rent for the repairs. This was a fuck you job because the original asshole didn't bother coming out to look at it, then I find out later he blamed me for the condition of the AC as the reason he didn't want to work on it. Plus the additional fuck you was that we called a service after hours, this bumps up the rate. Too fucking bad, if I owned property I would make damn sure it was maintained. I feel no remorse for this.
